Helping Men & Women Over 50 Live Happier, Healthier Lives

Our Mission

For the past 10 years we at Living Fit After 50 have made it our mission to help those of us in the autumn of our time here on earth, to live longer, happier, healthier lives through exercise, nutrition and with a focus on a healthy mindset.

Our goal is to help Men & Women over 50  to live better than they ever imagined, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Our programs focus on helping them to look and feel great, be able to get through their day with with less aches & pains, have more energy and feel 10 even 20 years younger without starving themselves or spending hours in the gym.

Our vision is to inspire the members of our community to thrive in their complete physical, mental, and social well-being. We are most fulfilled when we help facilitate that thriving in our members’ lives.

Since 2013, we continue to be leaders in functional training and adult fitness. All of your programs are focused on helping those we serve to remain active and able to do the things they've been looking forward to later in life.  We're proud to say that we’ve improved the lives of thousands of adults of all ages and abilities and we can help you, too!

We are founded on the principles that exercise should be fun and purposeful with practical real-life outcomes. Our nutrition programs are designed to show you how to stay healthy and fit without giving up the foods you love.

Most importantly we focus on the individual and adjusting our programs to fit you and your busy lifestyle. In other words we believe that each person is unique and that you should start their fitness journey where you are... Dont' worry we’ll meet you there.

Then we’ll teach you how to progress at your pace, at the intensity that is right for you, achieving the goals you set out to accomplish safely & effectively.

We have worked with thousands of young-at-heart adults, grown-up kids, folks with broken and worn out parts, and adults in the game of life over the years and have the knowledge, know how and expertise to ensure you reach your goals whatever they might be.

About our Exercise Programming

Getting healthy, fit, strong, fast, powerful, confident, and lean are all great goals. How we get there is fundamental to our approach.

We work smart and we work hard. We rest equally hard. We have fun. We don’t risk getting injured. We develop resiliency and grit. These are the behaviors that lead to success.

This is why we subscribe to a few “rules” when it comes to our programming.

  • All movement has purpose and applicability.

  • Therapeutic work should be therapeutic.

  • Use the minimum effective dose.

  • Flirt with your limitations.

  • Practice only good reps.

  • The value of learning something new lies in the pursuit of mastery.

  • Participate in the group.

  • The key to success is consistency. The results you achieve will be the compound effect of all the workouts you did or did not do.

  • And in the end, it’s not about the goal. It’s about who you become along the way to achieving the goal.

Our Values

  • Health – A state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.

  • Community – To create a culture and space for our people to work on their own individual goals with the camaraderie and support of each other. And for this community to come together in other ways to pursue athletic, recreational, philanthropic, and/or social activities.

  • Fullness – Playful, Joyful, Grateful, Mindful, Thoughtful, Beautiful, Soulful, – All the Fulls that make life fulfilling.

  • Strength – Embodying strength of mind, body and character.

  • Functional Movement – Exercise rooted in purpose and applicability to real life.

  • Continuous Improvement – Perpetually striving to be better at something every day

  • Education and Innovation – Constantly applying new methods and science to enhance our mission through continuing education and personal development.
